5th Nov 2007 - Goetre Farm Shop opening in Llandysul

Goetre Farm are pleased to announce we will be opening a shop in Llandysul main street opposite Natwest Bank on the 8th of November 2007.

The shop will have a full range of our own chickens, ducks, turkeys, pork, sausages, dry cured bacon, gammon and will also include local welsh beef and lamb.

Christmas Orders are now being taken for collection or delivery to most areas. LIMITED Availability... Sold out every year!

21st Aug 2006 - The Harrow at Little Bedwyn

We now have the privilege of supplying our free-range ducks to The Harrow at Little Bedwyn near Marlborough, Wiltshire.

Roger and Sue Jones are the proprietors of The Harrow at Little Bedwyn, which they run together, with a passion for good food and wine. They bought the derelict Harrow Inn in 1998 and have spent the last 8 years transforming it into one of the most acclaimed restaurants outside London.

The Harrow has been awarded a Star in the Egon Ronay Restaurant Guide 2006 and Head Chef Roger, who has his roots locally in Lampeter, has been awarded a 'Rising One Michelin Star'.

In their Newsletter, Roger says that he has created two new menu specials with our ducks that are “flying out of the door”. See more at their website

You will find our free-range ducks and chickens being served locally at the Ty Mawr Mansion. This luxury Hotel and Restaurant is discretely located in Cilcennin, between Lampeter and Aberaeron. The emphasis being on quality and service, you can enjoy a leisurely meal in beautiful surroundings overlooking the gardens.

Angela  HartnettOur ducks come highly recommended by Angela Hartnett, Head Chef at The Connaught Hotel, Mayfair.

See us with Angela on The Great British Menu on BBC 2 starting on Monday 10th April 1830-1900 for 8 weeks.  Your vote could see our duck served to the Queen and her guests at a special lunch being held at the Mansion House on 15th June 2006 to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s 80th birthday.
