Brussel Sprouts With Chestnuts
Ingredients
- Serves 8
- 1kg (2¼lb) prepared brussel sprouts
- 450ml (3/4pt) Chicken stock
- 25g (1oz) butter
- 225g (8oz) can chestnuts rinsed and drained

Instructions
Bring the chicken stock to the boil and add the prepared brussels in a steamer. Steam for 6-8 minutes until just tender. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the sprouts and chestnuts and stir-fry over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a warmed serving dish, season with pepper and either cover with foil and keep warm or serve immediately.
