Hot Turkey Salad

Ingredients

  • 16oz diced cooked turkey
  • 8oz chopped celery
  • 1 can condensed mushroom soup undiluted
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • 2 cups of crushed potato crisps
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion
  • ½ cup slivered almonds
  • ½ cup grated mature Cheddar cheese

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except crisps and cheese. Blend well and spoon into a buttered casserole. Sprinkle with crisps and bake at 350F/180C/Gas 4 for 20 mins until hot. Sprinkle with the cheese and return to the oven until the cheese melts. Serve immediately with a dressed green salad and crusty bread.
